Zodiac Signs – are Sagittarius (until December 21) and Capricorn (December 22 forward).
Birthstones – are the blue turquoise or zircon and the tanzanite.
Flower – is the holly or poinsettia.
DECEMBER RECIPE OF THE MONTH:
Fold two hands together,
And express a dash of sorrow,
Marinate it overnight,
And work on it tomorrow.
Chop one grudge in tiny pieces,
Add several cups of love,
Dredge with a large sized smile,
And mix ingredients above.
Dissolve the hate within you,
By doing a very good deed,
Dash in some help for a friend,
If they should be in need.
Stir in laughter, love & kindness,
From the heart it has to come,
Mix with genuine forgiveness,
And give your neighbor some.
The amount of people you can serve,
From the recipe above,
Is in the quality of its ingredients,
And unlimited amounts of love.
This recipe’s for the whole wide world,
For everyone to make,
Just get it all together,
And cook for your own sake!
MERRY CHRISTMAS QUOTATIONS:
“Christmas – that magic blanket that wraps itself about us, that something so intangible that it’s like a fragrance. It may weave a spell of nostalgia. It may be a day of feasting, or of prayer, but always it will be a day of remembrance – a day in which we think of everything we ever loved.” Augusta E. Rundel
Christmas is a time when you get homesick – even when you’re home. Carol Nelson
Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time. Laura Ingalls Wilder
Isn’t it funny that at Christmas something in you gets so lonely for – I don’t know what exactly, but it’s something that you don’t mind so much not having at other times. Kate L. Bosher
