FATHERS’ DAY QUOTES:
“I believe that what we become depends on what our fathers teach us at odd moments, when they aren’t trying to teach us. We are formed by little scraps of wisdom.” ~Umberto Eco

“My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person – he believed in me.” ~ Jim Valvano

“No one in this world can love a girl more than her father.” ~ Michael Ratnadeepak

“A father doesn’t tell you that he loves you. He shows you.” ~ Dimitri the Stoneheart

“The older I get, the smarter my father seems to get.” ~Tim Russert

“It’s only when you grow up & step back from him – or leave him for your own home – it’s only then that you can measure his greatness and fully appreciate it.” ~ Unknown

Remembering my Dad with a poem he wrote to me when I was a young Lana:
“So you’ve passed the fifth and moved on down the line,
In your studies you sure do fine,
And in your own little special ways, you trouble me from day to day,
But you’re my own little girl and I love you swell,
Just be good and do real well,
Nobody will ever know your daddy works at Shell!”
~Delbert Henson (1920-2005)

HAPPY FATHERS’ DAY TO DADS EVERYWHERE!
